Workbooks

The AI-aware spreadsheet: formulas, =ASK(), range gestures, and XLSX export.

A workbook is an AI-aware spreadsheet inside FigureFlow.

Create one (from the chat composer):

• /workbook (blank), /workbook template (accounting template), or /workbook <description> (AI scaffolds it — e.g. "12-month cash flow with 3 scenarios"). Name it if prompted; it opens in the artifact panel.

Edit the grid

• Click a cell to select; type to overwrite; Enter to confirm, Esc to cancel, F2 to edit in place.
• Formulas work: =SUM(A1:A10), =IF(...), and =ASK("question") for inline AI computation (a verified cell shows a green corner; click it to trace precedents).
• Copy/Cut/Paste: Cmd/Ctrl + C / X / V. Fill down/right: Cmd/Ctrl + D / R. Select all: Cmd/Ctrl + A. Jump to edge: Cmd/Ctrl + Arrow.

AI gestures

• Select a range → quick-action chips (Explain, Normalize, Validate, Refine) appear in the chat; click one, or type an instruction like "refine these accounts." Review the proposed overlay and Accept or Reject.
• Right-click a cell/range for Explain / Validate / Refine.

Export: Click Export to XLSX (or run /export workbook) to download.
