Forecasting

Cash projections and three-statement models with assumptions and scenario comparison.

Where: /forecasting (dashboard) and /forecasting/editor/:modelId (editor) — cash projections and three-statement models with scenarios.

Availability

Forecasting is behind a feature flag. If it is not in your sidebar, it is not switched on for your organization.

Dashboard

  • Switch models with the model tabs.
  • The chart shows projections; pick a chart type (Line / Bar / Waterfall) and select indicators (Revenue, EBITDA, Net Income, Cash Flow…). An AI summary explains the forecast, assumptions, and risks.
  • Compare two models side-by-side from the selector.

Create a model: Click + Create New Model, enter a Name and optional Description, click Create Model — the editor opens.

Editor

  • A spreadsheet-style three-statement model (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with historical + forecast columns.
  • Click a cell to enter a value or formula; changes auto-save (status badge shows "All Changes Saved"). Dependent cells and future years recalculate automatically.
  • Set base assumptions (growth %, COGS %…) and build scenarios (Optimistic / Base / Pessimistic) to compare. Reset to Defaults restores default assumptions.
  • Export the forecast to Excel.
