Run a Companies Income Tax engagement from your ledger with a full audit trail.
Where: /tax (list) and /tax/:sessionId (workspace) — Companies Income Tax (CIT) for Nigeria, computed from your ledger with a full audit trail.
Start an engagement
- Fill Engagement Details: Period ended (required), Year of assessment, Company name, TIN, Total fixed assets (auto-filled for the small-company test), Unrelieved losses b/f, and WHT credits available.
- For a first-year engagement, complete the Cold Start section (unutilised capital allowances b/f and opening TWDV for Class 1 buildings 10%, Class 2 plant 20%, Class 3 vehicles/other 25%).
- Set Entity Status flags (professional-services firm, non-resident, part of a multinational group / Pillar Two).
- Check Data Readiness (green = ready; orange = items to fix) and click Start engagement.
The workspace
- Tax agent panel (left) gives a plain-language brief, current status and net tax payable, the Next gate with a "Do this next" CTA, and an Output section to Download workpaper (Excel).
- Schedules rail lists schedules (Adjustments, Capital Allowances, WHT, Exempt Income…) with status.
- Workspace canvas (right) shows the active schedule plus open judgments, blockers, and evidence; chat with the agent on specific items.
Certify: Complete all schedules → resolve all judgments → Certify Computation → Download workpaper → optionally Submit Return.
